UNCLE WILLIAM’S Flightless Birds and Eggs Show
Step into Singapore’s oldest family-owned farm specialising in quails and other game birds. Join Uncle William himself as he shares his remarkable journey in quail breeding, the story behind “black gold,” and what it was like growing up as the youngest in a farming family.
Presented in a lively and interactive PowerPoint presentation, Uncle William brings decades of farming experience to life through engaging stories, fascinating insights, and audience participation. Participants will discover the differences between birds that can fly and flightless birds, learn about a variety of bird eggs and their unique characteristics, and gain a deeper appreciation for the fascinating world of birds.
The session concludes with a fun and interactive quiz, allowing participants to test what they have learned. Due to current AVS regulations, live bird interactions are no longer part of the programme. However, the presentation remains an entertaining and educational experience for visitors of all ages.
